Psychology Applied to the Human-Animal Bond
About
I work as a clinical psychologist, trained in Systemic Relational Therapy by the Systemic Relational Institute, a specialist in Animal Behavior, assisting individuals and families, especially with issues related to the bond between human beings and other species and mourning the loss of a pet.
I also develop consultancy work on canine and feline behavior, through the Multispecies Family Interaction Quality Program.
In addition, I research topics related to anthrozoology, the human-pet bond and the multispecies family configuration.
I consider human development through interspecies relationship as my professional mission, as well as guaranteeing the quality of life and well-being of all those involved in this relationship.

My research
We still have a very limited understanding of certain topics such as, for example, The effects of homelessness on the human psyche. Answering questions about this is essential for understanding the mechanistic role played in other scientific processes, as well as for developing tools to further explore this line of research with more sensitive measurements and improved data collection.
